St Thomas More Feast Day – Church BBQ

On June 22, the Catholic Church honours the life and martyrdom of St. Thomas More, the lawyer, author and statesman who lost his life opposing King Henry VIII’s plan to subordinate the Church to the English monarchy. Each year on the Sunday closest to this feast day – we have a Church BBQ in the grounds of St. Thomas More Church after 10.30am mass.
