SUMMARY:SVP Maidenhead: Smarties Appeal for South Sudan
DESCRIPTION:Over the weekend of 27-28 June 2026\, members of Maidenhead SVP will be handing out tubes of Smarties to parishioners at Masses in St. Josephs\, St. Elizabeth’s and St. Edmund Campion to eat and then fill with notes or coins to aid the work of SVP groups in South Sudan. \nThis includes running baby feeding centres which feed hundreds of children a week\, providing free life-saving medical treatment at SVP medical centres\, and offering vocational training for young people to help them learn a trade.  Your donation can help fund these critical SVP projects that bring hope and peace into lives torn apart by war. Please can Smarties tubes be returned to either St Joseph’s or St Edmund Campion Churches by Sunday 13 July 2026.

This will take approx. 2 hours. \nIf attending\, please arrive by 11.45am for a 12.00pm start.
