SUMMARY:Parish Pilgrimage To St Francis of Assisi\, Ascot
DESCRIPTION:The Holy Year of St. Francis is a special Jubilee Year 2026\, declared by Pope Leo XIV to mark the 800th anniversary of the saint’s death. “This Year of St Francis spurs all of us\, each according to our possibilities to imitate the poor man of Assisi\, to form ourselves as far as possible on the model of Christ… may the hope that has seen us as pilgrims now be transformed into zeal and fervour of active charity.” \nOur Holy Family Parish Pilgrimage will take place on Saturday 1st August with mass at 11.00am \nAll are invited. \nThe Holy Family Walking Group\, based at St. Edmund Campion will be organising a walking route.
