DESCRIPTION:We we celebrate First Holy Communion on 2 Saturday’s in May\, due to the numbers of children making their first Holy Communion. \nFor those families wishing to enrol their children (who are in Year 4 at school or above) for the Sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion\, application forms will be available from Friday 12th September 2025 on the parish website. Please fill in the form electronically and return\, via email to the Office (not the school) before Monday 29th September 2025. \nA short Prayer Service will take place at St. Edmund Campion Church on Saturday 4th October at 5pm\, followed by the Vigil Mass at 6.15pm. After a brief prayer there will be a talk by the catechist and priest\, introducing the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. (Parents/Carers will need to attend this Introductory Session.

DESCRIPTION:An International Exhibition called ‘The Eucharistic Miracles of the World’ is coming to Wokingham from Saturday 23rd May to Tuesday 7th June.  We invite everyone to visit this exhibition at Corpus Christi Church\, Sturges Road\, Wokingham RG40 2HE.  Bring your friends and neighbours.  Free Entry. \nThis exhibition was designed and created by St Carlo Acutis (1991-2006)\, an Italian teenager and computer whiz kid\, referred to as the “patron saint of the internet”. \nThe Relic of St Carlo Acutis will also visit the church on Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May.  A number of events are planned over these two days. Fronted by naturalist and broadcaster Chris Packham\, and featuring experts in the field\, including leading scientists\, an economist and an expert in national security\, it sets out clearly the climate and nature emergency that we are currently heading towards\, but also provides practical ideas about what can be done to improve the outlook. It is being shown in many community venues and churches of different denominations across the country.  Presented in ‘Goggle Box’ style\, it is very watchable and accessible as well as being highly informative.
