The Season of Creation – and our corporal work of mercy

In the month of September and until 4th October, the Season of Creation runs. This is the annual celebration of Prayer and Action to care for our common home. The late Pope Francis called on all Catholics to take “decisive and urgent action” during the season of Creation.
This year’s theme is “Peace with Creation” and our Corporal Work of Mercy is “Care for Creation”. There will be weekly “Creation walks” and we are asked to pray for God’s Creation and for our brothers and sisters who are suffering the most from our changing climate.
